Getting Started is Easy!

In gratitude for your partnership, PIH partnered with our friends at FreeWill to offer you a free, online tool that walks you through the process of writing a legally valid will. It typically takes less than 25 minutes! At the end, you can download and sign your legal will.

Get started writing your free, legal will now!

The tool is always free, whether you choose to include a gift to PIH or not (thank you for your thoughtful consideration!). If you have a large or complex estate, or if you simply prefer to work with an attorney, you can also use FreeWill to find a trust and estates attorney near you and create a list of documented wishes, which can save you time and money at the lawyer’s office.

In addition to supporting the mission of PIH, a planned gift can provide substantial tax advantages, especially on gifts of stocks and real estate. The benefits may include:

  • an income tax deduction
  • reduced capital gains taxes
  • reduced probate costs and estate taxes
  • income for life

Simply by taking advantage of incentives the IRS provides, you and your advisor can craft a gift that fits your needs, as well as the needs of PIH. Even with the increased standard deduction in the tax law that became effective January 1, 2018, an immediate income tax charitable deduction resulting from a planned gift may lead to itemizing deductions and greater tax savings. A planned gift makes it possible for you, your loved ones, and PIH to all benefit.

We want to be sure that we can fulfill your wishes. If you have any questions, please contact:
